We're Off to San Francisco's Big Boat Series!

Once again, we're off and running again! After a long hiatus on travel due to my Dad's poor health (flying back and forth across the country on a regular basis doesn't really count as adventure travel unless you count adventures with hospitals, surgeries, etc.) we're taking a trip to San Francisco to compete in the Rolex Big Boat Regatta on .... wait for it... a big boat.

Actually, we're on the biggest boat in the regatta. At 73', we're carrying 22 in crew (without sandwich people or drink wenches). All 22 will be working - hard. There's breeze in San Fran that isn't available here in "Dago."

We'll be piling into a motor home with 2 other couples and doing the night drive from Temecula to Point Richmond. Should be entertaining!
